These little plates are beautiful and very useful for serving desserts, snacks, and side dishes (e.g., steamed or sauteed vegetables, though with a diameter of 7" they're too small for salads). They look exactly like the photos, and the ceramic, glazing, and designs are all high-quality. I liked them so much that I immediately ordered another set of 4, so now I have 4 matched pairs of each design. I've been using traditional Japanese-style blue & white ceramics for more than 30 years now, and these plates blend well with the rest of the pieces in my crowded cabinet.They look like doll plates but I got as a gift for someone about to do a surgical operation , where they won't be able to eat very large portions for awhile. They are real dishes, color very true to online, they were packed extremely well, very pretty. Price was reasonable , came quickly & in time to give as a gift. I will be looking to see what other items this company has. Highly recommend.I am now planning how to get new shelving to display these beautiful pieces.
